Privacy Policy

1. Your timers never reach us
The durations you set, the presets you press, when you start, pause or reset, and the cycle counts on the Pomodoro page are all processed entirely inside your own browser by JavaScript running on your device. None of it is transmitted to us, written to any server, or received by us in any form.
This is not something you have to take on trust. The site is a set of static files with no backend to send anything to: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the network tab, and run a timer to completion — no request is made while it counts, and none is made when the alarm sounds, because the alarm is generated from oscillators and never downloaded as a file.
2. Information we collect
Using this site requires no account, no sign-up and no personal information, and there is no contact form. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other identifying detail in order to use any page here. Where you choose to email us through the contact page, that email reaches an ordinary mailbox in the normal way and is not connected to this website.
3. Cookies and third-party advertising
This site may display third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Users in the EEA and UK may also be shown a consent prompt where required by law. These advertising cookies are set by the ad vendor and are entirely separate from the timer itself — no duration, preset or cycle count is available to them.
4. Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free aggregate analytics (for example Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count page views and understand which pages are useful. No personally identifying information is collected, and nothing you do with the timer — no durations, start times, pauses or cycle counts — is ever included in analytics data.
5. Local storage and cookies set by the tool
The timer sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage. Your current duration, phase and
cycle count are held in the page's memory for the life of the tab and vanish when you reload or
close it. This is why a duration page opens preset to its own length without remembering anything
about you: the length comes from the page's own markup, or from a ?t= value in the
address bar that you can see for yourself.
6. Embedding this timer elsewhere
The embed snippet on the home page is a plain iframe pointing at this site. If you embed it, your visitors load these pages directly, and this policy applies to that load in the same way it applies to a normal visit. The embedded page still stores nothing and still sends us nothing about the timers it runs.
7. Affiliate disclosure
Some links on this site may be affiliate links, meaning we could earn a commission if you purchase a product through them. This never changes the price you pay and it does not influence any measurement published here, the design of the timer, or which durations get their own page. Links to our other tools — such as the military time converter and the days-until counter linked from these pages — are simply links to other free tools we run, with no payment involved in either direction.
8. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and every part of the timer continues to work, because none of its functionality depends on them. You are equally welcome to use the site with an ad blocker. This service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
9. The timer is not a guarantee
The countdown reflects what your device's clock reports while the page is running. It is accurate by design and measured rather than asserted, but it is not a safety device and not a substitute for one. A closed tab, a muted tab or a sleeping computer will each stop it, and those limits are set out in full on the about page. Do not rely on a browser tab for anything where being late has real consequences.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it. Material changes will be reflected on this page; there is no separate announcement.
11. Contact
Questions about privacy can go to the contact page or rlaejrtn16@gmail.com.
